The Net House Facility is famous in production of seedlings in large scale.  It is one of the best methods in the production of high quality seedling in Nigeria for transplanting.  The young seedling does not require excessive sunshine because it many cause damage to the young plant during developmental stage.  The solution is provided by the use of net house to break off the sun rays by at least 50% shade.  Irrigation system is an aspect of the net house which helps to increase humidity and irrigate the plant.  For an area of 1 hc it is possible to produce between 350,000 – 500,000 seedlings.

We have successfully established net houses in different parts of the country including Abuja and Asaba in Delta State.
